Government of Karnataka has issued a notification for Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET) for hiring teachers. Eligible candidates may apply online. Other details like educational qualification, examination fee & how to apply are given below
Karnataka TET Details:
Name of the Examination: Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KARTET)
Educational Qualification:
For Classes I-V (Paper-I): PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
For Classes VI- VIII (Paper-I): B.A/ B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
For Classes I – VIII (Paper-I & II): PUC/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Examination Fee: Candidates should Pay Rs. 500/- for only Paper I or II & Rs. 800/- for both Papers I & II in case of General, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Group candidates (with service charges Rs.10/- extra by SBM) & Rs. 250/- for only Paper I or II & Rs. 400/- for both Papers I & II in case of SC/ ST/ CI candidates through Computer generated Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in Cash to CAC Account at any branch of State Bank. No fee for Differently Abled Persons/ Candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in from 14-10-2016 to 09-11-2016. Candidates should retain printed copy of application form/ confirmation page and challan form (if fee paid through Bank Challan) for future use.
Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Before applying online candidates should scan the copies of photograph and signature.
2. Log on through the website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in.
3. Click on “Online Application for Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test-2016″.
4. Click on “Registration/ Login”.
5. Fill all the details carefully & Submit the form.
6. Now take printout of online application for future use.
